Also known as Commercial General Liability, Business Liability, and Event Liability. This policy protects event holders, artists, contractors, vendors, & production companies from lawsuits alleging injury to members of the public (attendees, customers, audiences, etc.) The policy can also be extended to include injury to athletic participants, and contestants.
In addition to providing coverage for bodily injury, many but not all policies also provide coverage for personal injury (libel, slander, false arrest) & damage to rented locations.
The policy will cover the costs of your legal defense and will pay judgements up to the limit of your policy if you are found liable.
